Interviewing Kilted
Was asked to interview for an open seat on the board of directors of our fair city's domestic violence agency.
Wore my chocolate brown UK workman's, natural white old west reproduction shirt, brown Sportkilt soccer sox type kilt hose pushed down with brown New Balance tennies.
Was chosen to serve.
Not a comment about the kilt.
Not sure it'd be the same for a job interview in a larger city...but thought it was promising.

I was on the other side of the table recently as a member of a committee interviewing candidates for a top level administrative position here on campus. We interviewed 4 candidates, all showed some interest in my kilt. The candidate that was most positive about my kilt was also our first choice for the job... I wonder if there was a connection?
