Into the wilderness
I'm off for Massachusetts for two weeks. I'll be field-testing the Blackwatch Ebay Kilts we've talked so much about in the past few months. The Berkshire mountains will be my home for most of the time, living in a hammock or in an emergency shelter if it gets nasty.
I'll keep a journal and make sure I take an abundance of pics to be posted upon my return!!
hmm...wonder if p1m will be able to surpass me in posts before I get back???

I crossed from Connecticut into New York a few years ago on a bicycle, and what I saw of the Berkshires was gorgeous. Do take lots of pics (and then show us only the good ones )

Don't forget, that an extra kilt makes a good poncho of sorts when worn over the shoulders to keep off the sun or in a light mist, or just add warmth.
