At this time of year my family exchanges names for Christmas giving and I drew my nephew David.
He's 18 and has told me that he likes the kilts I have worn in the past.
I had gotten a text message that he wanted a kilt for Christmas, I wasted no time in ordering a SWK Leatherneck thrifty-kilt sporran and belt and kilt pin. It's a starter kilt so he can start to feel comfortable in a kilt and have fun with it too.
I just hope he likes it and he wants to be a Marine and follow in my foot steps (well maybe not exactly like my foot steps.).
PS I have ordered a MacDonald tartan for my grandmother side also.

Nice, Jeff! Is he in the area? You can bring him to our next kilt night!

That sounds like a great idea, I hope he enjoys it.
