    The Joy of Kilting

    Hell-o all,

Outside of the comfort and confidence wearing a Kilt brings you, what are some of the benefits have you received?

I have had free meals, discounts, free drinks and of course the ever popular hugs and kisses.

    Your turn to share.

Just the knowledge of not conforming to the "tyranny of trousers" as I've heard it put is great, as well as a free drink here and there. Plus the fact that my wife loves the way a man looks in a kilt

All in all, I just feel... right... in a kilt.

Comfort and ease. Some years ago I had a major surgery that resulted in four incisions and 84 staples down the inside of my leg. Being able to wrap myself in a kilt saved me much pain and difficulty.

    Ditto.

A couple of free drinks. I was once out clubbing in Kingston-upon-Thames and had the cutest, most gorgeous brunette press a napkin into my hand with her number on it. Of course, I lost the napkin sometime between then and getting home.

It's the one and only occasion I wish I could turn back time...

As a kiltmaker, I have had my clients buy me beer after a parade or at the games.
I get a big kick out of the different places I have taken peoples measurements like parking lots and restaurants. and nothing compares to "Kilt Camp" for fun!
