Just bought my first 2 kilts

After doing quite a bit of research, I decided on my first two kilts. After finding out about Lythgoe Sporrans, I found a link on his site to a new kilt store called UT Kilts. Most probably have not heard about, but when I found out he is local I decided to give it a try.

I bought a 6 yard Black Watch and Modern/Utility kilts from them. I know some peoples feelings on the acrylic kilts. However, I felt these would be a great introduction, for me, to wearing kilts. For 45 dollars and 60 dollars respectively, I felt like I got a great deal. They are being shipped right now and will post pics when I get them.

So far dealing with them has been great! They answer communications quickly and I got shipping information TODAY and I ordered this morning. Since it is just starting UT Kilts does not have everything in stock, but do have some things. Plus, the prices can not be beat.

I will review them more as I get the kilts.

Can't have too many kiltmakers in the world. Do give us the run down when you've had a chance to field test them and inspect them.

I am glad I could help some of you. UT Kilts is a great new place to get kilts and accesories. Definetly worth looking at.

Can't have too many kiltmakers in the world.
From their website it looks like they are a stockist of mass produced kilts rather than a kiltmaker.
I have the identical black "Utility Kilt" which I purchased from a retailer in England.
Nice range of entry level kilts.
Wear the Black Watch and the Utility kilt proudly, looking forward to seeing your reviews and photos.
