just got my stillwater kilt

looks well made
quite thick, not for summer,I'll stick with my bear kilt for summer.
lots of room to expand

I need it.
great value for the money
not for weddings or for sunday best, but good for work etc.
the apron is'nt very wide, but will do.
another reason I like my bear kilt,nice wide apron.
anyway thumbs up if you are looking for an inexpensive kilt, or can't wait the 3 months for a hand made kilt from scotland. got it within a week.

fits ok,as for swing, not sure, not been walking in it, but tryed to make it swish as I posed in the mirror,looks like its not going to be too bad.

I got mine in July. It is definately warm in the summer. I can't complain for teh price. It is very goor for running errands and going to sporting events or even going to the pub.

Tonight is kinda cool, and I probably will be wearing it for the Star Wars DVD Midnight Sales Event.

Thanks for the info on the stillwater, been thinking of getting one, good to hear that they are warm. would be good for here in winter. my Amerikilt is too thin for the cold times up here. Cheers Andrew

congrats phil. i know you'll enjoy the SW.

i received a Royal Stewart last week from SW but haven't had time to utilize it yet. I will say the RS is built better than the Black Watch I received earlier. and the label wasn't glued in as the Black Watch was and stitching seemed more tight.

i'm impressed though with the light weight cost for such a spiffy kilt. one thing i have noticed with the BW ... i work in a controlled enviroment with temperatures at a constant and very dry 68F/20C for our equipment. as the SW kilts are synthetic material static seems to build up over the course of work day.
guess i need some anti-static/cling-free spray.
