Just ordered a WPG Gordon Highlander kilt
Although it has not been too cold here in Manhattan Kansas I thought it would be a good idea to order a heavyweight kilt and from the reviews of McMurdo on the WPG Gordon Highlander kilt in 22oz wool I thought purchasing this and the kilt hose would be nice, and I can wear these for my kilt night when I go to Seattle in February.

They are nice--and HEAVY! Unfortunately, I had to return mine because the straps on the two strap side were misaligned. I'm anxiously waiting for the replacement...

what's the taper like on these things from waist to hips? Any big guys on here have one?
I've seen pics of a few being worn, but mostly by smaller dudes.
I like the idea of a big heavy kilt, but I'm not sure the WPG ones would accomodate by big girl hips. I'm guessing that if I got it big enough to fit around my butt, it'd be too big around my waist.
Wondering how they compare with Stillwaters??
Inside me is a thin woman screaming to get out. But I can usually shut the b*tch up with chocolate!

Cloves sorry I did not get back to you on this, here are a couple photos of mine

It looks like there is a significant taper on them, remember they are a high waist, the best thing I think would be to contact Jerry at WPG he is a great guy to deal with.
