Kentucky colonel is an honorary title bestowed upon individuals by approval of the governor of Kentucky. The award is presented to those who make exceptional efforts to enrich the lives of Kentuckians and the world at large.

    John,

Perhaps you should add that to your signature...Very Impressive...I received my award for training over 400 Law Enforcement officers throughout the US, in WMD Awareness and law enforcement protective measures (LEPM) through the DHS-Center for Domestic Preparedness post 9-11...It only took me 5 years...LOL...I was quite surprised...One of the students was an investigator with the Governor's office who recommended me...I was embarrassed not to know the award ever existed, but see now that it's quite prestigous...Glad to know you've received one...How did yours come about?

    Chase,

I recieved it through all the hours I devoted to Shriners Hospital for Children, planning and working events that raise funds for the Hospitals. Like the event we just did Oct. 13th our 1st Annual Royal Tartan Ball and My next event on May 3rd a comedy staring Johnny Bagpipes from Canada. I have spent hundreds, if not thousands of hour working on different projects. I am even thinking about a Highland Games...
