A kid's first kilt (photos added)
Red_Raven_Studios' son is getting a kilt tonight. He just doesn't know it yet. He wanted one. He doesn't know I ordered it, though. I picked it up from the post office at lunch today. It's A Stillwater Economy in Black Watch. I'll post pictures when I get them (hopefully tonight).

Looks good. I need to get more people kilted. I've been slacking on my kilt missionary duties lately.
Cowards die many times before their deaths; the valiant never taste of death but once. Of all the wonders I yet have heard, it seems to me most strange that men should fear; seeing that death, a necessary end, will come when it will come. --William Shakespeare, Julius Caesar

That is great the look on his face says it all.

He had his first public outing twenty minutes after he put it on. We (including his mother) went out to run a few errands. Since we were both kilted, we went by the local Celtic pub for dinner. It turned out to be half-price burger night, and we got a 10% VIP discount for being kilted.
