    Kilt Check!

Last night Jude and I attended a dinner dance to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Synagogue she attends. It was a formal affair so I wore a tank, PC, and all the trimmings.

As we entered the building we were greeted by the Temple President, who proceeded to 'inspect' me (he's a retired Naval Officer). Turns out, what he was looking for was a sgian dubh, since I don't wear one when I attend services.

So I got a 'properly dressed' compliment for adding the sgian dubh for the occasion.

Can you pass on the name and phone number of the Temple President to Grant?

    Cheers

A scot and a jew walk into a bar. The bartender looks at them and says "Is this some kind of a joke?"
    Simple and crude, but effective.

How could it be without the Englishman the Welshman and the Irishman?
