    Kilt hose with images?

I saw this picture on another thread in reference to unbuttoning the bottom button of a vest.

Notice the Kilt hose the gent on the right is wearing. They are sort of an Argyle pattern with stag's heads.

Now, I've seen hose with Stag's heads on the cuffs and in the same colour as the cuff, but nothing quite like this. I think they're great and I immediately made Diane promise to make me a pair in the next 2 or 3 years.

    What do you guys think?

I think they are very smart looking Arlen, if slightly over the top.

You won't have to wait 2-3 years. This is one of the styles that we're going to try and replicate this spring when our 4 new styles come out. Hold tight.

Wow Argyle with medallions in which a stag's head is depicted.

I think that the medallion is the same colour as the stripes, but that is some really complicated looking intarsia work.

Not too many years ago, when Tartan Web was known as Wm. McIntosh, they sold some absolutely beautiful hose withe a stag pattern all over. The hose were either blue or green--I can't remember which! I was about to order a pair when I found out they were no longer carrying them. What a shame.

I don't think there is anything wrong with a skunk sporran. What's so over-the-top with that?

I've admired those stag's head pattern hose in that print since the first time I saw it. Go for it!

Interesting hose. Not something I could pull off. I look forward to seeing how they turn out.
