Ladygriffin,

I'd offer to let you bunk in with me. But I think Bobbie may have something rather strong to say about it.

he snores?

I have ear plugs...

Moosedog offered a possible space sharing also.

Now if I can find someone who is driving near a main airport and wants to pick up a passenger.

It is $500 for me to fly in to the nearest airport to the Kilt Kamp!
There HAS to be a way to get there that is cheaper.

Looks like I cannot go

and I really wanted to. Between airfare prices and tryiing to get to the Kilt Kamp from the airport, ANY airport, and buying the tartan I want to work in, I just cannot come up with the funds.

Perhaps next year.

I live in Atlanta and believe we have an airport from which I could drive you to Franklin. Now, if the good folks in Franklin could negotiate with a local motel for a group fare and I could find another attendee to room with (male, me wife's funny that way) then perhaps this would enter into the realm of the possible. I SO want to attend, but motel, meals, tuition, et. al. make it a tad steep without a means to at least somehow creatively address the costs other than tuition.

Yes I was so hoping to attend but my health is just not good enough for me to make the trip this year.
