    kilt nr4

    Watch out Hamish I ordered my next kilt yesterday.

    Linda at Hector Russell is so helpfull ...So what is it this time . The MacWilliam Ancient would be a bit difficult to get so I went for MacFarlane Hunting Ancient which for those of you that don't know looks like this.

    I found out that my surname is a sept of MacFarlane . The kilt will be an 8 yard machine sewn as was my last kilt from HR

    Expected wait 6 weeks.....Pssst don't tell the wife.......She knows already 'onest she does
    All the Best.....David.

    Ok David, so now I am REALLY worried!! ;) However, if it helps you to keep a clear head, I received my very first Freedom Kilt from Steve in Victoria BC this morning. The order was given on August 9th whilst I was visiting that fair city with 'The Gang' during the Vancouver Gathering. This one, by the way, is number 57 in my Kilt Kollection. It is Charcoal poly-cotton with silver embroidered logo and filigree buttons. In a word: WOW!

    My on-line time is so severely limited at the moment (other priorities) that it might be a day or three before I can get the photo-shoot accomplished and a full report on this Oh-so-kewl garment written, so watch this, or that, space!

    I believe this was the first tartan to be favoured by my good Pal and travelling companion, Dave W. It is beautiful.

    David,

    That is a stunning looking tartan! CONGRATULATIONS!

    Now how can I not tell your wife? That may be a problem. {chuckle chuckle}

    David,
    Yes, he has MacFarlane Hunting kilts in both Modern and Ancient colours and I am sure he will have some photos. Because he is between jobs right now I may not be able to contact him until next week but, if all else fails, I have some photos of him wearing these kilts during our 2003 Tour of the USA which I could E-mail to you. In fact, there are a couple in the 'USA Tour' sub-album within my Photo Album, but they're not very good ones. I'll be in touch.
