    kilt number 14

went on a spending spree yesterday.
first I got a new "taz" sporran from R-kilts
I ordered it this summer at one of the games, Fergus I think.
anyway, Rob was kind enough to drop it off for me.
then I went to the local British shop, and got a MacDonald tartan casual kilt (red and black)
as some of you pointed out, 13 kilts is an unlucky number, so I had to get another
    because I can

    Congratulations, Phil
Only owning two kilts, I'm jealous. But I have made up my wee mind that the next kilt I shall own will be a box-pleated one, darn it, and, well, until I can either learn to sew it, or save up enough to afford it, I'll stick with the two that I have.

Very nice, but 13 isnt all that bad, of course more is better.

Well done, Phil (and good to see you are still around here!). I too remember rushing to get No.14 hanging in my wardrobe, or strapped around my waist, because stopping at 13 seemed like tempting Fate!!

What a great excuse though! Currently I have 73 kilts. Now, if that number is not unlucky I don't know what is ......... that HAS to be why I sent my order for No.74 to Barb Tewksbury today!

both 73 and 74 are very unlucky numbers, although 75 is a nice even number, like you ever needed any excuse to buy another kilt.
BTW how are you these days?

One could always number it #12A if suffering from triskaidecaphobia!
