    Kilt sighting!

I spotted my first kilt on campus today. One of the cooks in the cafeteria was in a green Hot topic kilt, I made sure to complement him because he wore it with pride (and with green hair AND mustache.)

Wow! Someone went all out. I just wore my Irish National and a green bead necklace.

And I've had my Seven Nations, Brother, Albannach and Great Big Sea CDs going all day.

I have a green shirt on, to avoid being pinched, and my watchband is green. That guy was totally all out. I'm all for the kilting though, even if it's just a cheapo hot topic kilt (which didn't look bad, just gothed out)

That's cool. I can't wear my kilts during a lot of my work, due to being a therapist (it tends to distract a lot of clients and I don't want the focus to be on me instead of them). I'm wearing lots of green, but it kinda stinks when a lot of the "kilted holidays" fall on days I see clients, instead of just being in class or something.

I forgot about that aspect! I wore a saffron tie and an attitude... and went to church.

I didn't do the green hair... But I went to dinner at a quiet, little diner with my mother. I wore my Weathered Lamont tartan kilt, and it has green in it. It was a nice evening. I'll get the pics up in the gallery when they are resized.

We had gon to a bigger pub type of place and there was a one hour wait; we decided to go somewhere else. As we were leaving, a piper piped up, so we stuck around and listened a bit. All I know is his kilt tartan was green red and blue for the most part. It was a good time all around.

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

I wore my Matt Newsome Ulster Scot box pleat, it seemed like the perfect kilt for St. Patrick's Day, one gentleman even knew what tartan it was and complimented me on it.
