Kilt sighting at Wal Mart @Fredericksburg

Usually if I see a kilt in Fredericksburg, it’s when I catch a reflection from a mirror when I pass by. But, today as I was checking out at Wal Mart, I see a fellow wearing a black Utilikilt, who is approaching my check out line. ‘Hey, buddy’ I say, ‘like the utilikilt’. He thanks me with a relieved look. I ask him if he has heard of this forum which he says no, so I give him the address. Things are looking up here.

Mael, you're doing better than I. I've been kilted in Richmond since last October and have never seen another one, except in the mirror. Maybe we'll see each other one of these days.

Good on ya, Mael! I actually feel pretty lucky. I know 1 other full time kiltie here in the Fort, and at least another 6 that could be called upon to kilt it up, when needed. All in this little town near the Wyoming border.

I agree about that thrill!

I was heading home from the last Kilt Night here in NYC. As I passed through the turnstile to enter the subway station, a guy in a UK passed me on his way out. He didn't see me and left too quickly before I could say anything.

It certainly gave the evening an extra dollop of enjoyment, though.
