Kilt spotted at the Omni Hut
I took my wife to dinner at the Omni Hut in Smyrna, TN last night. This is a Polynesian (sp?) style restraunt that has been operating in the same location, by the same family, since 1960. Anyway I spotted a kilt going in as I was looking for a place to park. It looked like either a UK or AK from that distance. After going in and getting our name on the list, I spotted him looking at some of the decoration. I asked him about the kilt, a tan UK, not sure which model. He did say he wears it a lot. I told him it was nice to see a kilt around town. And I told him about XMarks. He was a young guy, 20's. Hopefully he'll take a peek and join up. It'd be nice to have someone else local that appreciates kilts. I might have made a better impression if I had been wearing one of mine. But I had just got back from work and we (well I) were in a hurry to get back out. My wife's not crazy about the kilt thing and it was for her birthday. I didn't get his name, but if he sees this I hope he joins the rabble.

Cool, sometimes I hate being the only kilttie in the room. I hope he finds us.

Don't be shy, spread the word! Maybe we need " XMARKSTHESCOT" business cards. That way when you see somone, just walk up to them, hand them a card and say "Well Done!" Then they'll have the link.
