Kilted Board Meeting
I have a board meeting for the library tonight. This will be the first time most of the directors have seen me in a kilt. I'm wearing my new Buchanan SWK for the occasion.
One thing I have noticed is that the more confidant I've become in wearing the kilt, the more compliments I get. I think it's because when I first started wearing it, I looked nervous, which made me less approachable. That has changed over time, as I get less self-conscious about wearing the kilt.

Good luck! I think librarians are the most under appreciated people on the planet.
You'll look great.

Good luck, and hope all goes well.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

I thought you meant the Xmarks board. OK humor off, I am a member of several boards, and by now everyone is so used to me being Kilted, I would feel odd in anything else.
What a great step you are doing.

Its that swagger that makes all the difference in the world. First time I wore my Black Stewart to a pub, after a few pints, I was approached by all sorts of people. Walking around, obviously dressed differently, yet not seeming to care, really draws people to you!

It was an interesting meeting. One of the things the board was voting on tonight was a new sexual harassment policy. After they passed it, one of the female board members says "Does this mean we can't hit on the guy in the kilt?"
