Kilted in the bookstore
Shopping yesterday in the mall with my wife and daughter. We have a family wedding coming up and Michele needs new stuff for it. I was kilted, as usual, this time in my casual American Heritage from USAKilts (I love it, Rocky), a red cable knit sweater. Whiler the girls were looking at shoes, I went to the bookstore. As it occurred, a romance novelist was having a book signing. She looked up as I walked by and said, "I love a man in a kilt" and the next thing I knew, I was surrounded by presumably romantic ladies. A good time was had by all, but I had to disappoint them, I'm already taken.
Ah, the power of the kilt!

What fun! Kilt on!

Great story sir.
Something similar happened to me at work the other night in my UK. One of my coworkers (who was leaving) stared at me for a moment and simply said, "Wow." Then she made some sort of feline noise like, "Raaawrrr."
Yes indeed, you kilted gentlemen are definitely on to something...

New plan. Go on line and locate as many bodice-ripper romance novel writers as possible. Check their book signing schedules. Attend all possible kilted.

Gotcha Rob,

Probably should find me one of those corsets like Lee Marvin wore in Cat Ballou to rein in my beer belly.
