    Kilted Chemo

So, getting old. Physical a couple weeks ago showed low white blood cell count. So next was a bone marrow biopsy and a CT scan. Diagnosis is Hairy Cell Leukemia. Sounds like something from Sesame Street. Anyway, if you're gonna get cancer, this is the one to have. Apparently a 5 day chemo treatment almost always puts it in long term remission.

So, today drove up to Flagstaff for the first chemo treatment. Went well. The stuff they use let me keep my hair.

So, did the chemo kilted of course.

Not sure what to say, Ron. I'm sorry for you and I guess happy for you (that it's easily treatable) as well. Best of luck.

Good to see you are taking it all in stride, of course I would expect nothing else from you. You and I feel the same about cancer and about life. Get well, get stronger and keep the colors flying. You will be in my families thoughts and prayers.
PS: Need to see that BFD shirt Kilted

Ron, words fail me at this time.
Fortunately, I believe your spirit will conquer whatever is thrown at you.

    While being kilted..... of course.
