    Kilted cure for the blues....

Was feeling rather down the last day or so, couldn't really put my finger on it. Something just was not right in the world. Kinda felt like when your just in a funk.

Had to go out, and was still in my "jam-mies" (gym shorts and tee shirt) thought what the heck...dug out the cube O' kilts and fished out my Buzz Kidder. Put on a Golf polo, the Kidder and a pair of green crocs and felt better.

Went and ran the errands, by the time I got home was feeling pretty positive. Worked on some paperwork, got some stuff cleared off the desk, made some phone calls, got a new phone in the mail to replace the last one that exploded and by 5:00 was feeling right with the world.

Watched the rain roll in, gloried in God's creation, decided to pull the motorcycle out and take her to the quarter car wash. Washed the bike, rode home (kilted ) and made some meatball subs for dinner. My son asked me what I was so giddy for!

So in the course of a little less than eight hours I went from grumpy to giddy, all from wearing a kilt! Who knew........? Better than Prozac! Faster too.

Of course I may have been suffering withdrawl symptoms

Sounds like a good cure. I wish I could do that right now... I'm in a terribly foul mood today (feel like punching kittens). Too bad I'm stuck at work for another 3 hours.

Ya, I had on my Buzz Kidder kilt earlier today. I just happen to be upgrading a bunch of stuff on my computer, including switching my web browser, at the same time.
So... I guess it all went well, and in a kilt.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

Crack me up! Been advocating "kilt therapy"....never mind the occasional old paintings of brewding, kilted Scotsmen.

That is so cool... I can finally see the smilies, or at least the coad, in the posts without quoting them.

I don't know what the problem was...

I don't know anything about punching kittens...

You were just sad because you missed out on camping with my family!

Now that has to be pure entertainment.

My friend... You have no clue. When I say my family, I mean my whole family- brother and his wife and kids, my parents, the Mrs and our wee ones... My dad and I make it our mission to drive my sis in law nuts, and we do a pretty good job. She mentioned to my godmother- who lives close to where we were camped and came to see us- that she was trying desperately to civilize us, and is failing miserably- which made Dad and I rather proud.
