Kilted Dancing and spreading Kilty Goodness

Last night my wife and I had a chance to spread the joy of kilts, have fun, and raise some money for the Knights of Columbus and our church.

My KofC council sponsored an oldies dance and we volunteered to collect the money, keep the drinks on ice, and make sure that the chips and pretzel bowls remained overflowing.

What better time to go out kilted (as if there's a bad time)

This was the first time that anyone from my Catholic church or my brother Knights had seen me kilted. Needless to say it went over big! Everyone said how good I looked -- with of course the best comments coming from my wonderful wife, who looked pretty hot herself!

Lots of curious questions including the obvious underwear one.

Allow me to say that if you haven't slow-danced with your sweetie whilst kilted -- or for that matter boogie-down -- you've missed a fun time.

And of course this was a big draw to have guys stop over to comment on my kilt and for me to promote kilts, and the Knights of Columbus!

I am happy to report that there was not one snarky comment made.

Can't wait for the Christmas Party in 4 weeks, and the next dance in February

    Cheers

    Tony

That's great. Really, I wouldn't expect snarky comments from Catholics.

Heck yeah! There will be pics from the Christmas Party.

As to my brother Knights getting into kilts -- actually the thought of the sight their knobby knees is something that would take a might getting used to -- but I'll keep on pushing !
