    Kilted first at Murrayfield

On 19th March me and my friend will be at the Scotland v Italy 6 Nations Rugby international at Murrayfield in 'auld reekie'
As a tartan army foot soldier over the years following the national football team, this will be my first ever rugby match I've attended.
So the working kilt will be out and freshened up for this experience which i am looking forward to but unfortunately the national rugby team is not doing well, as everyone knows. They play Angleterre at Twickers this weekend and we're not hopeful of success so it will be the final game of the series in Edinburgh against Italy, fighting for the 'wooden spoon'
Perhaps something miraculous could happen this weekend and sort out the English!

Being a fan of both the Denver Broncos and the Colorado Avalanche, who are both laboring under long loosing streaks, I empathize. Here's hoping for your miracle- and ours next year!

Enjoy! I'll be there with my man as well!

If this is your first rugby match, be prepared for a shock. Some men - a minority - will NOT BE KILTED. I don't know how this happens, but it does. What are their wives and girlfriends doing? Can't they ensure their men are properly dressed if the poor souls can't do it themselves?

This girl won't be happy until every male supporting Scotland is in that stadium PROPERLY attired!

That is hilarious!!! Not to get too far off track, but I wonder how it would be taken if I wore my kilt to an NFL (American Football) game? Perhaps I'll have to give it a try next season!

Congratulations Jimmy on obtaining a ticket for a six nations match, they are like gold dust, I have never been successful in obtaining one.
Statistically, Scotland must be due for a winning streak, I'm expecting them to beat England and Italy.

Hmmmm. So near but yet so far!

And the italiens beat France, too!

We'll have to win our last match by a good margin to be able to "offer" the wooden spoon to the italiens, otherwise it's ours!
