    Kilted History...50 Years Ago

    My sister is visiting and rumaging through old family photos found one of a family friend, Dr. Alfred Hott, of Portland, Oregon in full piper regalia. I remember, was a lad of about ten when the pic was taken probably in the mid 50s. He must have been a true Scotsman because he also brewed his own beer.

    There's a photo of him in his tartan - don't know if it was his clan tartan or a band tartan - on page 10 of my gallery.

    Debated whether to put it on the photo forum or here due to the history, obviously decided this. Please move the thread if I guessed wrong.
