    Thumbs up kilted hitch hiking

Okay so in attempts to save gas and money in a few weeks i was thinking of walking home/hitch hiking. I was wondering if any one on here has ever hitched while kilted and if they seem to have better luck while kilted vs non kilted?

mind you hitching is Legal in Oregon and is done quite frequently along many major roads. I know that personally i would definitely stop for a kilted hitch hiker as I'm sure that most of you would (assuming you would pick a hitcher up in the first place). Google maps say that it would take 1 day and 4 hours to walk the distance I'm going, so if i started hitching and didn't get picked up it would be a very long walk. but seeing as hitching is legal and frequent in this area I'm hoping luck would be on my side.

    thoughts?

Its been a long time since I hitchhiked in Oregon - but as a young man I had some extremely weird experiences hitchhiking from Corvallis to Portland and back....no clue what its like now. As long as you can protect yourself you should be fine. Kilts would probably attract some rides and cost you some rides as well.

Do report your experiences to us.
