Unhappy Kilted in Jail and in Court Before the Judge

Judge calls and asks me to go to the jail and do an alcohol screening on a prisoner. I'm working kilted today (UK tan mocker) desert flora print shirt, lovet blue kiltsox pushed down, brown tennis shoes.

No problem with the deputy's at the jail, not even a comment.

Took the results to court. Judge was still on the bench. Clerk had me go into court. Judge saw me, had me approach the bench. Delivered the results, discussed them. No comments about the kilt.

A few wide eyes from the prisoners shackled in the jury box awaiting their hearings.

It pays to go kilted about town...folks seem to get used to it.

Good work. And a hearty sincere thank you for doing your part to actually make sure the system is working.

    re: Kilted in Jail . . .

    Whew!!!

Glad I didn't stop at the title line . . . my initial impression was that something absolutely dreadful had happened and YOU were the one in jail!!!!

I knew that certainly shouldn't be the case.
