    kilted at a Masquerade Ball

April 1st. So I donned my finest. Put on a black leather mask, and my lady and I went to the Artists ball in Boston. She was dressed in a floor length crimson ball gown and a fancy mask to match. We danced the night away. This is what the kilt got me.
The beautiful girl at the Dewars booth gave me a vey nice (4 fingers) scotch on the rocks at no charge, simply because "How can i charge you you are the only guy here kilted"
Almost every time i would seperate myself from my girlfriend, I would get hit on in some shape or form. "My friend and I think you are hot, can we have your picture." (I am an average looking 45 year old )
And of course "the question" was asked by a few.
Now I owe this all on the kilt, and all the accessorizing i have done Thanks to the great advice i have gotten from this site. I even modified a 10.00 good will sport coat to go with the kilt. (Thanks Allan.) I dont have any picts to post but maybe some day.
We had such a good time I cant wait till next year...
Thanks to all I have taken advice from.. You may all give yourself a little pat on the back......

Great story. I'm looking hard for another Goodwill jacket, this time black, to modify before I have to chaperone our high school prom.

it never amazes me how much a properly worn piece of cloth can do for a man...

    ...and the women around him.
