Found this on the web, an annual Kilt ride in San Francisco

He looks great, but I'd never ride my bike with a kilt on.

Well, that's one question answered.

Cool.

They must have had a plan because they stopped for a round of caber tossing on the way to the overlook, then back for an after ride meal. Almost makes me wish I had enough hand and foot coordination to ride a motorcycle...

(O.K... and the comely lass who has a really nice pink Burberry Nova Check mini-kilt.)

Trust me... most of us bikers have a plan when we ride... usually involving food & beverage!

Have to say that, that is perhaps the most moronic use of a kilt. This from a former rider.

You know...maybe I have issues or something but I'd do that.
When it was cold this winter I always wore my leather motorcycle jacket and boots with my kilt. (My "Mossy Oak" parka clashed with the tartan)
I used to ride in shorts. I'll probably ride in a kilt this season...just to say that I have.

Yeah...I've probably got issues

Current rider, admit to stupidity and doing that once. Got to the end of my drive and turned around and put one some jeans. It just adds a variable you can't control, like a kilt in sixty mile an hour winds.

I couldnt agree more. My safety is much more imporant than being able to say "hey look what can do." A wreck at 60mph in a kilt would result in more damage to sensitive areas than I will ever be willing to risk.

If someone wants to do it, thats their perrogative but I question the sanity of it.
