Kilted with my Olympic torch
Happy holidays to all kilted community,
As a follow up of my olympic flame torchbearer on dec. 8th, here is a picture of myself in a tweed Argyle outfit holding that precious torch.
My kilt is a heavyweight Stewart of Appin made by Mc Isaac kiltmaker in Nova Scotia.
This tartan has been choosen due to be at one letter close of my family name, Arpin instead of Appin.

That's a fine looking tartan, and a wonderful memory for you. Do you know which mill provided the fabric, and what their "designation" is? I'm looking at all the possible setts for Stewart of Appin as my first tartan choice for a kilt... Thanks for sharing!

I had to pay $350+tx CDN to keep the torch but the uniform (made in China) was free.
