| | | Kilted in Seattle and Kilted knot tying
Last week I spent three days in Seattle attending a government sponsered small business conference. Parts of all three days I was properly attired in either Wallace, Irish National or Stirling of Banbirnoch. Lots of questions on tartans, clans and where can I get one!!!! Got a couple of the usual questions of "what is worn, etc etc." But I did send several wannabes to this site. Over all quite a good experience. Had comments from my associates about the amount of "where is the guy in the kilt?" questions when I was away from the company booth or I was wearing my more everyday p**ts.
By the by, the previous week I was celebrating my nuptials in Indian Country up in Northern Washington. All the guys that I care about were suitably attired... mostly from my own wardrobe. I will attempt to post pictures of the Seattle caper as well as the wedding as soon as I can figure out how to insert the pics properly.
The new Mrs. IrishRob loves my kilts and encourages the wearing.

Congrats on the wedding. Look forward to those pics (don't really know how to post them myself). Well done at the conference! Your management must be benevolent with its policy of attire. How did you approach them?
