    Kilted at Sonic????

No, not really. But a friend gave me a rather unusual toy that she recieved in a Wacky Pack meal from our local Sonic Drive In. It is called a "Smart Cube".She gave me this one because it includes a brief definition of a kilt intended for a young child. It says
    Fashion Around the World
The kilt originated in scotland as early as the 10th century. Men wear a multi-colored pattern on their kilts that identifies their clan, or family. The original kilt was called the "feileadh mhor" or "big wrap."

This co-worker still laughs and make jokes any time she thinks of me and kilts, but I take it as a compliment from her!

So, do I get to change my kilt count when I have saved half the money to buy my next or when I get all the money together and actually order it? Either way, I'm getting close to 1.5!

And what is wrong with being kilted at Sonic? My wife and I had lunch at a Sonic in Medford OR. and wearing my kilt got me free upgraded sodas!

No no no. Get the Wacky Pack and ask for the Smart Cube Volume 1! And pick me up a cherry limeade while you're there!

Nothing is wrong with that, unless, maybe you are a car-hop or cook. Then it may present some uniform violation, if they actually enforce such. As a consumer, I think it's great! I will have to try going in kilted (this location is the only Sonic I have seen with a dine-in area). Maybe it will create some improvement in service! Sometimes I think we are lucky to get ice in our drinks here! LOL

Keep an eye on their web site. Sonic restaurants are popping up all over. New one in Hanover, Pa. We popped up there just for a respite from the heat.
Still, out, standing in my field.

We had one open up near here last year, and I have to admit I & the family weren't too impressed
Though, mind you, I'm not diss'in Sonics as a whole. I understand its a chain, & as with all chains there's always a dog in the mix

I just completed a cross-country road trip and enjoyed a number of cherry-limeades on my way across. No comments on my kilt and no free sodas or upgrades either. Everyone seemed more interested in the parrot on my shoulder instead.
