    Kilted Throwdown

I've combined Kilting with The Food Network and took some fabric over to James at Sportkilt yesterday, told him it was a kilted throwdown.
He has until friday afternoon to finish my Steelers kilt (He's following Jeff's instructions from the Pittsburgh Kilts website), I'm making my own flashes.
    Pics maybe next week.

That's a good idea getting a Steeler's kilt; at least you'll have something positive after our Cardinals win the Super Bowl!

    GO CARDS!

Really though, I wish it were over already. I'm tired of hearing about it. Every other TV commertial, radio commertial, newspaper and so on is talking about it. I guess that's a hazard of living in Arizona.

Never thought I'd see it happen....

I belong to a group called the WetWesties and we will be camping at Nehalem Bay State Park for a "UNSUPERBOWL" weekend. Anyone caught listening to the game will be thrown into the bay or the Pacific Ocean.
WetWesties is group of new and old VW vans. Mine is a 1980 Vanagon that I have converted into a Caravan.

    Superbowl

Don't these foolish people understand there is no Superbowl this year. The superbowl be definition requires the participation and triumph of the Dallas Cowboys! Anything else is just a game so unimportant it need not be noticed

I wore my jersey and red kilt to the Cardinals victory game over the Eagles for the NFC championship. It was an amazing game. I look forward to a good game this weekend as well. As much as I don't want the Steelers to win, I'd still love to see pictures of you in your Steelers kilt when it's finished.

    Cheers!

As an alumnus and proud fan of the Kansas Jayhawks, I keep thinking I should get a kilt in Hamilton/Coast Guard. Then I blow it off. It's going to take a few drams some evening to get me to pull the trigger on that one, and when I do, it will be glorious.

And I, too, want to see the Steelers kilt when it's done.
