Kilted at work today

Morning all,

I'm happy to report I'm wearing my Great Kilt at work today. I'm passing it off as a costume, but in the end I'm happy to be kilted. Have to say that my Great Kilt is by far the most comfortable piece of clothing I own.

Hey again all,

Not many pics kicking about from today just yet - here's one taken in the cafe at the costume contest. I didn't win anything, but that doesn't much matter. Fun was had by all.

And here's what I did yesterday - we had a pumpkin carving contest, and I felt like being traditional.

Do you know how hard it is to carve a turnip?! Rewarding though. Good fun.

I'm sporting mine as well today. Having a birthday the day before Halloween is always a reason to get dressed up.

My mom's birthday was today. She always had "Halloween Birthday Parties" growing up. I have a picture of her when she was about 9 standing on the running board of a Model T in a flapper costurme.
