I've talked about my notion of the Scotish-American Kilt ... now there's Scotish-German kilts too! I've even read about a guy getting a kilt from Russia tax free, a Scotish-Russian Kilt! Are kilts going worldwide or what!

    Kilt On!

    Hi there,

I sell quite a few kilts to Germany and I was wondering why in particular.

I have a customer from Edinburgh who moved to Berlin and is marrying a German girl.

His explanation is that Germany have a festival which is akin to the Highland Games. He said that this is the reason that some maybe buying the kilt.

Has anyone got anymore information about this type of festival.

There are a few Highland Games in Germany, but that's all. Perhaps he was thinking about Ren. Faires and the like?

There are also a lot of pipe bands in Germany.

    Cheers
