    Kilts in Iraq.

I asked a question about which Highland units were in Iraq when I was there (2004).

I have an answer: the Black Watch!

    See: "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Watch"

The Black Watch were there in 2003 and a year later in 2004.

So now not only is the Black Watch a "generic" tartan, I can say that I served alongside them in Iraq.

    Scottish Regiments in Iraq...

Besides the RHR, there were several other Scottish Regiments in Iraq:

    The Argyll Sutherland Highlanders
The Highlanders (Seaforths, Gordons and Camerons)
    The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards
    The Royal Scots
    The King's Own Scottish Borderers
    The Royal Highland Fusiliers
    The 51st Highland Volunteers (Territorials)

    Cheers,

    Todd
