    Exclamation Kilts at Mountain Gear

Image my delight when I went to the summer sale at Mountain Gear in Spokane and found a kilt for a man!
It's a very lightweight kilt for walking in the mountains. Right next to it were ones for women. It is produced by Mountain Hard Wear.
    Maybe, we are getting somewhere.

It didn't come up for me either, but if you click on where it says "mountain kilt" to the right of where the picture should be, it will come up. there was only one view. Couldn't see any pleats. Discription says it has one pocket on the left.

That's because it doesn't have any. It is stretching the definition a bit to call it a kilt.

Hmm, I wonder if it is a reversed image or if there really are two buckles on the left? Does it close right over left?

The term "kilt" on this item is very misleading. It is basically a male skirt. Yes, they wrap the "wrong way" to be a kilt, and there are no pleats.
That said, they are incredibly comfortable. I have one that I wear around the house on occasion.

I have one as well that I wear around the house at times. I originally bought it for hiking, but it is a little too tight on me. I have a 38 waist, and ordered the x-lg. I have a number of Mountain Hardware clothing items, and they do run on the small side, so be forewarned if you buy one of these. I much prefer my USA Kilt.
