Here's me in my 6 yard Cairngorm tweed kilt, Marton Mills material. The overall colour is Heather with Evergreen and Coffee overcheck. It's super comfy.

You are asking for it! :-) I love tweeds, especially Harris Tweed. So I'll start by showing off my custom Harris Tweed outfit.

This is available from the STM shop (click here). We have the cloth for the kilt woven in Harris Tweed in the tartan of your choice, and can have the cloth for the jacket and waistcoat woven in a complimentary solid color. We can even have a special sporran made with a Harris Tweed insert. Here's a closer look at the sporran.

Of course you don't have to get the whole outfit, you could just get the Harris Tweed kilt, which is great to wear all on it's own!

Another company I love to order tweeds from is Ardalanish Mill on the Isle of Mull. They have a range of wonderful organic and ethical tweeds, made from native breed sheep, in natural colors (or some dyed with vegetable dyes).

I have a kilt myself made from their "Hebridean Tattersal" pattern.

Their tweeds of course make wonderful jackets! In the below photo I'm modelling an Argyle in their "dark salt & pepper" tweed.
