At last, I have ordered a 'Lady Chrystel'!
Yes folks, after much deliberation and soul searching, I have finally made up my mind and have given my order to 'Lady Chrystel' in France for one of her absolutely stunning double box-pleated kilts. I have taken the easy route and have selected one of her from-stock PV fabrics for this, rather than going for a woollen tartan or tweed material straight away. http://pagesperso-orange.fr/lady.chrystel/kilts.html
In truth, this is just a stop-gap measure because I have not yet found, what would be for me, the perfect tartan for this unique style of pleating - and I can wait no longer! My 'Kilt Kollection'(TM) has been desperate to include a Lady Chrystel double box-pleated kilt in its inventory since Ancienne Alliance first showed them to us - now we have taken the first step to make that a reality.
I will keep you posted..........
Take care,
Ham.

Gosh that's going to look great. I can't wait to see yours. The photo of the Robertson tartan on the site makes me anxious to get one.
