Last minute jonesing

I got a call about 25 minutes ago, from the Fedex delivery guy, to make sure someone would be here to sign for a package. I'm hoping it might be my 9 yard 16 oz Locharron Mills kilt in Ancient Macneil of Barra tartan that I ordered through Matt at the tartans museum. It;s supposed to arrive by the end of JUne. The Fedex guy said he'd be here in 10 minutes and he's late. I'm sitting here with 90 deg+ temp outside and have my window wide open so I can hear the truck. If it is my kilt, I'll post some pics (as soon as I remember what the heck I did with my camera cable).

I just got a call from my daughter, on her way up to DC for her class at Argosy University (working on her Masters in Psych). AS she was going down our long one lane drive way, she first met the mail deliverer with a small pavkage that I can only assume was my Xmarks kilt pin. Then after he backed out and left, you guessed it, the Fedex guy. Since she is always running late, she just took the packages and continued on her way off to DC and her class. So, my kilt and kiltpin are now on their way to Argosy University. I told her to keep the packages within her immediate control (be able to touch them) at all times, and if she is in an accident and the car catches on fire to save the kilt first!

Ouch, so close to your hands, and now moving away! Have to teach your daughter that packages like that are always to be taken immediately to Dad!

My new kilt got here about half an hour ago. Too late for pics now, I'll try and get some tomorrow. The weight is uinbelievable, the ancient colors are much nicer than My Macneil casual kilts, and the pleat depth is about 3 inches or so. For now, I haven't even tried it on, just took it out of the box, looked and put it back.
