Latest eBay find
A couple of weeks ago I was surfing eBay and found a length of MacKinnon red fabric (about 8 yards). As that is my surname, I decided to go ahead and do a buy-it-now option and sit back and wait for it. As I need 9 yards for a tank, I have decided to have a Newsome box pleat made.
One of the pleasant surprises with this particular tartan was that it was the purple stripe variant instead of the standard blue stripe. I am so excited to get this made that I wonder if I can bribe Matt to do it earlier?

It was listed as 16oz and compared and that feels about right.
