Let the hunting begin.....
For many the winter is a time of gray and gloom.
But for all those who love Robert Burns it is one of the best times of the year.
So begins the Great Haggis Hunt.
Be careful not to confuse Haggii with the yellow taxies or large trucks.

Nelson,
I've already spotted five this morning, and this the first day of the season!

Pooh! I only saw two this morning--well, three actually, but a pair were at Gleneagles, so that only counts as one sighting. The site is really slow for me right now.

Didn't see any yet, but heard them this morning at sunrise making quite a racket out in the woods.

Better get them when you see them, I understand they are like deer and know when hunting season starts.

So far I've only seen one haggis, but at least it was a golden one.

Well the haggis hunting draws to close at 3 pm today.
I hope you all have had a fun filled season.
I had really forgotten how much I enjoy searching for
the wooly beasts.
