LIDL Kilts Again
From next week Lidl are selling their kilts again in Scottish stores, gents are prices at £24.99 and £48.99. They are also selling ladies kilts and boys kilt.
A volume of Robert Burns poetry is also being sold at £2.99, a bargain.
I bought one of the cheaper kilts last time round and I believe they are good value for everyday wear and less formal occasions.
3 different tartans are available McKenzie, Modern Douglas and Black Watch.

ha
From news article...
"Gordon Greens, Lidl's operation manager, said it had been the supermarket's most successful promotion "by far". He added: "We are getting in touch with our Scottish supplier to get more."
Atleast they said supplier.

Mipi. The same kilts are £29.99 (5yard) and £39.99 (8yard) on ebay. Don't loose any sleep over this deal my friend. If you want a Gold Brothers kilt just buy one... by the time you've factored in the postage it should negate the £9.99 Lidl markup. By the way, don't buy the 5 yard kilt!
Best Regards John

Hm, there is one good thing in buying in the shop rather on net; I can see/touch the thing and decide. But in general you're right.
Thanks

We were amused to notice the 5-yard one in a family shot with mum and dad in their latest paper catalogue. The man's garment has its kilt pin (and so presumably fringe) on the same side as the woman's kilted skirt. I've long said anyone buying these Gold Bros level so-called "kilts" is really walking around in a ladies' skirt. Now I have the evidence! :-)
