Life-changing experience!

Well, maybe not quite that bad.

Karen and I went shopping yesterday, and we took my new vehicle (more on this at a later date). Temperature was in the -12C range, and the new truck has leather seats. Never had leather seats before. They're supposed to be heated, but they aren't working properly at the moment. (You know where this is going, don't you?

)

Karen hops in the passenger side and hands me the snowbrush so I can clean the snow off. She's all nice and comfy in her seat, then I hop in the driver's side. Well doggies!!!!! Nice warm backs of my thighs meeting up with a freezing cold leather seat is something I've never had the joy of experiencing before. Yowza!!

I think Karen is still laughing.

The only thing worse is a saddle blanket seat cover that you slide across and THEN discover your sweep wasn't good enough!!

I had a similar experience over the summer. It was about 110 or 115 degrees out... Even hotter with the humidity and the real feel calculations. (Heat from traffic, heat from blacktop, heat from light reflected off of mirrored glass skyscrapers, etc)

Sat in a car with leather seats that had been sitting in a parking lot for a few hours. Didn't quite get every pleat in place.

I wasn't aware that I could bend space and time in an effort to move quickly.

I can feel for you. Women have had to put up with that sort of thing for years. One of the reasons I rarely wear dresses anymore. Another is pantyhose. Both ideas created by men to torment women I'm sure.

That is not advise to wear PANTS, is it?

I'd rather go kilted!!
Let women dress like women and wear pants.

As for the topic at hand . . . I am VERY careful when I sit in my little car. It's seats are leather. I am not fond of those kind of surprises.

You haven't lived until you sit down on icy cold leather seats in a kilt. Seat heaters help but it takes them a few minutes to warm up.

We've got to practice the sweep, I lose it somewhere between the actual sweep and stepping into the car.

it is amazing how fast you can move when anything under the kilt is in danger...

I had a similar experience a couple of weeks ago, however, beware of a helpful wife and seat heaters!
