Here is a livery color cockade I made. What do you think?

I think it looks pretty good, Harold. It is especially well constructed. Did the grosgrain ribbon come in that fashion? It appears so. There are several Macphersons who wear the livery colours of our chief in the form of their cockades; several wear the Jacobite cockade as well...but most still adhere to the Hanoverian black.

The ribbon was black and white but using a permanent dye pin I changed the white to yellow.

    Livery Cockade

Nice one, Harold. Far better design than the one I made for myself in my livery colours of green and white.

I like it. I've never seen one made of striped ribbon.

You might consider pulling the stitches a bit tighter on the crossed pieces to give them more of an X look. Then again, you might not consider that.

I tried that but it made it really bulky in the middle so I let them out a little so they would lay flat.
