Local Pipe Band to lead NYC SPD Parade

Members of the Edward P. Maloney Pipe Band are also members of the Twin Tiers Kilt Club, of which Woodsheal, JRB and myself are also members.

We're pretty proud of these guys.

Are they the ones who wear the NYC tartan? If so, also very appropriate.

That's them! Our other local pipe band (yep; we're blessed with two!) is going down to march in the parade in Savannah, GA - second only to NYC in size.

I think you met one of them, named Pat, when you came to our kilt night. There's another guy named Marty who brings his pipes and plays during the pub band''s breaks.

My pipe band used to march in Savannah (we won some awards down there), but haven't been able to recently because they never paid us...
