A Long Walk
Hell-o all,
Today I needed to go to the Post Office, so since the weather turned nice and it is only about a 10 minute walk, that is what I started to do.
Well the walk turned out to be about 45 minutes. You see I started walking and it seems that everyone wanted to say Hell-o and just chat. It was wonderful, no one said anything about the Kilt or what the event I was going to. Just normal chit chat, or so I thought. You see while I was walking out of the Post Office I ran into a neighbor who said that someone called everyone along my route to just see the man in a Kilt. It was amazing that no one mentioned the Kilt until that one comment, but she always makes comments on how good I look while Kilted.
The walk back took 30 minutes.

Sheww Glen, I've heard of the long walk before, but it always had a bad ending! Glad yours was just a time consuming walk!

Just great Glen. It's a good feeling when no-one seems to think twice about it. happened a few times to me now. I'd say it's a sure sign of feeling completly natural in the kilt, so it's not even an issue. well done.
Cheers,
Erin

You're a great ambassador for the kilt, Glen.

I might look like I'm doing nothing, but at the cellular level I'm really quite busy.

It would be interesting to take the walk (dare I say it) in trousers just to see how many people make comments about the cilt then.

In the past i"ve heard of a "big man on campus" but this takes the cake! You must leave a powerful impression on folks. And to be honest Glen, I'm impressed that anyone actually knows the phone numbers of all their neighbors...
Good on you Glen!

Wow...all I seem to get are the looks of "what the h-e-double hockey sticks does he think he's wearing?"
