    Looking for a crest.

Could someone tell me where I can find a picture of the clan Macmillan crest?

here's a site I use to check them out...

    http://www.houseofnames.com/coatofar...d=&s=macmillan

It also gives a little explanation and some noteworthy people... pretty cool.

As a member of Clan MacMillan I proudly sport my clan crest tattooed on my arm. It was funny when I was having it done the artist said to me " In 15 years of tattooing I thought I would never see the day that I would tattoo the word 'disco' on somebody." It was a proud moment for me...haha

Son, someday you will make a girl very happy for a short period of time. Then she'll leave you and be with new men who are ten times better than you could ever hope to be. These men wear kilts.

    Found Mine too!

I have to add my thanks also. I have been looking for a copy of my family crest for years. My Great Aunt had a copy in her parlor when I was a small child and I've never been able to find it. Went to house of names and Kellett came right up. Same crest I remember as a child.

    Thanks all.

    Heraldry...

Before purchasing any "family crest" at the House of Names or similar "bucket shops", I might suggest reading this article:

    http://www.albanach.org/scotheraldry.html

I'm not referring to the "clan badge", just the "family crest" (really a coat-of-arms).

    Cheers,

    Todd
