Question Looking for Tartan to match school colors

I could really use everyone’s help out there. I am a middle school teacher here in Utah. I am looking to find a tartan that might match our school colors. Our school is called the Sand Ridge Scorpions. Our colors are white, brown, yellow, and gold. Although they do mix in black with those as well. I am guessing they don’t have a tartan with those exact colors, but does anyone know of a tartan that would have those colors in it? I would like to see one that has a prominent color of brown, but I am open to anything. Any help would be appreciated!

I don't know the link, but there is a program which can help you find tartans to match those colors. It has been posted here before a while back. Have you tried the search feature on here?

Would the recently-discussed Bear Tartan work? There are a couple of threads about it going 'round right now.

Hey, everyone -- don't forget there is a special section on Xmarks devoted to discussion of tartans -- all tartan related questions should be posted there.

How about the University of Missouri Tartan? Or the Thain tartan?

Check out both of them at http://www.tartansauthority.com

You can use their Tartan Ferret and input colors and click search and it will find tartans that have those colors.

    Good luck!

How about Barclay? No gold, but plenty of black and yellow.

And as a Jayhawk (rock chalk), I must paraphrase Abraham J. Simpson, "I'll be deep in the cold, cold ground before I recognize the Mizzurah tartan."

Scotsweb kilt store has a tartan finder that allows you to choose by color.
