Looking for Tartan Ribbon
fàilte.
My daughter is getting married VERY soon and forgot to order the tartan ribbon she needs for decorating the wedding.
We need ribbon in the Modern MacGregor Hunting tartan and need to be able to have it in California by 05 FEB 11.
Does anyone know of a store or website that might serve?
Thanks in advance,
Kevin

Have you seen this thread? http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/f...-ribbon-63864/
Looks like it's very similar in terms of what you're all after...

Try this place in Colorado: http://tartanribbons.com
You should also search Google for "Tartan ribbon suppliers". Use the quotes when you search.
Good luck!

I haven't had any luck at all. It seems that only a very few tartans are available as ribbon. I am looking for both Macneil and MacLaughlin. I even emailed the MacLaughlin clan to see if they knew of a source. The best suggestion so far, has been to buy a yard or so of the lightest weight tartan cloth available.
