    LV Celtic Games and convention

Lets see, I have the new X Marks kilt pin,(thanks Rob!), the X Marks T shirt, the plane tickets and the hotel room.. .. .I'm ordering an R Kilt ranger belt, I've ordered tickets for the games on Saturday...what else do I need???? I know, I know, I need to know where we are all meeting in Las Vegas.

Thought it was time to resurect the conventions topic. Mrs. Rob has even ordered a special Celtic dress to celebrate her birthday and her heritage in Las Vegas.

    See you there!

I get to book my vacation time on Feb 12th. I have my fingers crossed that I can get Apr 16th to the 29th off so we can drive down for the games.

Wonder what camping in Oak Creek at the end of April is like?
I have been there at the begining of May and it was great.

Well, it looks like we'll be there!! Woohoo!!!!!

My vacation doesn't officially start until the Saturday the 21st, but I'll be able to do a work trade so we can leave on the 19th. It'll be a 2-day drive for us, but we're looking forward to it. We should arrive sometime on Friday afternoon or early evening. It will be a blast meeting up with all the X-Markers there.

I just finished booking a room for 6 nights at the Imperial Palace. Not the best place, but it's centrally located on the Strip, and Karen and I spent our honeymoon there 10 years ago. As part of my anniversary present to Karen I'm also booking tickets to see her all-time favorite comedian, Rita Rudner. She's going to love it!

We'll most likely be trailering our Harley down with us as the Laughlin River Run motorcycle rally starts on Wednesday the 25th. We won't take in the whole event, but it will be cool to check out the first day or two. Plus it will be nice to have the bike for riding around the LV area.

My wife and I just booked the Plaza Hotel for Friday through Monday and we will be at the Games. Anyone else going besides Bill, Ron, Rob, and Al? Where and when are the X Markers getting together?

(I just got my new "Brotherhood of the Kilt" t-shirt so I'll be wearing that one proudly on one of the days!)

It worked well to set a time and a tent at the Mesa, AZ games. Never been to the LV games yet so no clue. Any locals with ideas?
